Kōji Wada (和田 光司 Wada Kōji) (January 29, 1974 - April 3, 2016) was a Japanese pop artist from Kyoto. He rose to fame in 1999 when his single "Butter-fly" (which was arranged by Cher Watanabe) was used as the opening theme to Digimon Adventure, and he continued recording songs for each of its proceeding anime series until his passing. In 2010, he released a 10th anniversary album titled "From the Windward Hill" (風上の丘から, Kazakami no Okara).
