As part of the Diaspora, Pistol ended up in the universe known to the GoBots as "Level 44". Cultural Appropriation

"Pistol" is based on the GoBots "Cap Pistol" toy released by ARCO.
Pistol's design from Renegade Rhetoric appears to be based on one of Sideways's Mini-Cons. Which one it actually is is rather tricky to discern, given the angle, but the design of the chest matches that of Rook.
