As part of the Diaspora, Rifle ended up in the universe known to the GoBots as "Level 44". Cultural Appropriation

"Rifle" is based on the GoBots "Hot Chamber Cap Rifle" toy released by ARCO, not to be confused with the "Cap Rifle" which inspired the other RoGun Shotgun.
On the other hand, Rifle's design in Renegade Rhetoric appears to be based on Energon Megatron; though the massive amounts of lines make it a bit difficult to discern, the legs certainly match. The dome appears to have been taken from Cybertron Jolt.
