- Insecticons are creatures referenced (but never seen) in the Robots in Disguise continuity family.
The Insecticons exist only to be used as an insult. We'd call that racism, if we had any evidence they were even sentient... or existent.
All we know is, they like to be on power cores, Landfill they can be crushed relatively easily, The Human Element and they're... forgetful? Galvatron's Revenge

[edit]- The Insecticons are, obviously, a reference to the original Insecticons—their mentions in the 2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon are just a few of the English dub's many references to Generation 1.
- The Robots in Disguise continuity family is currently the only one of the major families that has not been shown to contain any insect-based Transformers.
- Though in 2015, the Facebook version of Ask Vector Prime retconned Attacktix Thrust as a Robots in Disguise character whose spark is that of a dimensionally-displaced Animated Waspinator.
