Reason: In all of the Sourcebook's mentions of this group, it is always referred as simply the "Committee for State Affairs". The "bi-partate" part was mentioned in The Gathering #1, but the text is ALL CAPS, so it was impossible to tell if it was meant to be part of the name or not at the time of that issue's release. In Magmatron's Sourcebook bio, it is even referred to as "the (bi-partate) Committee for State Affairs", separating the "bi-partate" part with parentheses and leaving it all lowercase, not as a formal part of the name.

On Earth, bi-partate is not actually a word. Humans have the word "bipartisan" instead, meaning two political parties or factions agreeing. But Cybertron plays by different rules!
