War Within

The War Within toyline is spread across two umbrella franchises, Titanium Series and the 2008 Universe. Under the former, War Within toys are denoted with a "War Within" sub-label on the packaging. Likewise, the Universe toys are given a "War Within Series" mark.

Target

This two-pack was exclusive to Target in the US, Zellers in Canada, and Toys"R"US in Australia. In the initial run, the comic was accidentally swapped with the "Target: 2006" issue intended for a different two-pack.
The packaging for Optimus Prime and Thrust co-brands them as part of both Universe and Titanium Series, in lieu of mentioning The War Within. They are listed here for ease of reference.

Merchandise

[edit]

The War Within's physical presence was supplemented by a pair of high-end collectors' statues, as was the style at the time.

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 These three toys predate the Titanium Series Cybertron Heroes line introducing sub-labels denoting its characters' series of origin, though their designs are clearly War Within-based and make mention of its fictional setting on their back-of-box bios.
  2. The Fallen received two packaging variants, alternately sporting the name "Fallen" (sans definite article) or the trademarked name "War Within Fallen"; similarly, the nameplate on his display stand featured either "The Fallen" or "War Within Fallen".
