Skybound Entertainment

Skybound is a U.S. entertainment company headed up by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, best known for The Walking Dead brand. As an imprint of Image Comics, Skybound is set to publish the next licensed Transformers and G.I. Joe comics beginning later in 2023, part of a continuity dubbed the Energon Universe.

Notes
- Skybound was announced in late 2021 to be in negotiations in for Hasbro comic licenses[1] ahead of previous licensee IDW Publishing confirming in early 2022 that their license was ending.[2]
- Skybound was eventually confirmed on 10 June 2023 as the new publisher by a promotional artwork poster posted from a comic shop to Tumblr,[3] shortly before Void Rivals #1 went on sale on 14 June 2023.
