The name or term "Windrazor" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Windrazor (disambiguation).
Windrazor is a Predacon from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Devoid of empathy, the obedient Windrazor seeks only the destruction of others. A persistent, flight-capable Predacon, his high proficiency with ranged weapons makes closing in a daunting task for his enemies, while his sharp wings and impressive strength make short work of any unfortunate Autobot who could get close.

He and several of his fellow Predacons combine to form Abominus.

Fiction

The quartet were at a carnival when they saw the Joes playing a "ring the bell" strongman game. Obtaining the mallet, the team used their combined mode to ace the game, but hit the target so hard that the bell was fired into orbit. Carnival Face Off

Windrazor was one of several Predacons who broke free of Shockwave's lab, causing the Decepticon scientist to flee. Information on him could be found via the lab's numerous data terminals, and a video of him being subjected to Shockwave's experiments could be uncovered. As the experiment proceeds, Shockwave records the proceeding, narrating into his experiment log that he is inserting a spark into the Predacon's body.Hunt the Beasts

When Shockwave left his technology unattended, you could use it to custom-create your own monstrous Predacon! Windrazor's CNA was accessible through the cloning machine, resulting in Predacons that shared component parts with him. Beast Creator

I am also silver. Yup, that's right, Silver and Gold
  • Windrazor (Cyberverse Legion Class, 2013)
    • Series / Number: 3 / 008
    • Accessories: Tornado Bow
Part of the third wave of Prime: Beast Hunters Series 3 Cyberverse Legion Class toys, Windrazor transforms into a bird-like dragon creature, and comes with a "Tornado Bow". He can hold the weapon via the latter's three 3mm posts, and he and the weapon feature numerous 3mm mounting points.
Though not called out in the instructions, Windrazor combines with Cyberverse Twinstrike, Hun-Gurrr, Predacon Rippersnapper, and Blight to form Abominus, with Windrazor forming the right arm.
His bow accessory was also used, in varying colors, by Bumblebee, Airachnid, and Predacon Rippersnapper. This toy was redecoed into Prime Divebomb, Go! Barara, Transformers (2014) Strafe, and The Last Knight Rupture. This toy was also repurposed as G1 Cutthroat in IDW's Windblade series.

  • Abominus (Giftset, 2013)
    • Accessories: Tornado Bow
Part of the Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising subline imprint, Abominus is a giftset of Cyberverse Hun-Gurrr, Windrazor, Predacon Rippersnapper, Twinstrike, and Blight, slightly redecoed by way of translucent plastic replacing a main color of each character, as well as translucent purple weapons. In Windrazor's case, the light yellow plastic is now translucent; in addition, the green plastic has been changed to a light teal shade, and the tampographed Predacon insignia on his right shoulder has been changed from yellow with black outlines to purple without outlines.
The back of the packaging mistakenly switches their names, resulting in, among others, Windrazor getting Hun-Gurrr's name, and Rippersnapper getting Windrazor's.
This set was a Target exclusive in the United States and Canada, a Tesco exclusive in the United Kingdom, a Carrefour exclusive in France, a Ripley exclusive in Chile, and a Toys"R"Us exclusive in Australia much later, in late 2014. The packaging does not identify it as a Cyberverse product.

Beast Hunters

This toy is already absurdly rare, and then there's an even rarer variant. Good luck finding that one.
  • Windrazor (Deluxe Class, 2014)
    • Accessories: Dragontooth Mace
Part of the first wave of 2014 Beast Hunters Deluxe Class toys, Windrazor is functionally an upsized copy of his Cyberverse toy, though with minor detail differences and the replacement of ball joints with more robust universal joints. As such, his parts count, complexity, and articulation are all significantly lower than in previous Deluxes. He includes the "Dragontooth Mace" which he can store on his beast mode legs or under his wings when not in use.
Due to being released after the Christmas season and before the launching of the Age of Extinction toy line, Windrazor and the other figures of his wave were ultimately only available in Europe and Hong Kong, in European packaging in both instances (an unusual occurrence for Hong Kong).
A variant has been found in Germany, Norway, and the Netherlands (all three countries also got the original version),[1][2][3] which changes nearly all colors, possibly in order to distinguish him better from his very similarly colored wave-mate Twinstrike, with the figure looking very similar (but not identical) to the wallpaper of Windrazor unlocked by playing the "Hunt the Beasts" online game (currently used as the main image of this article): Most notably, the cream yellow plastic used for the head, neck, shoulders and feet gets replaced by gray plastic. Furthermore, the cream yellow plastic used for the forearms and wings is changed to gold, the plastic used for the torso and legs gets changed to a darker shade of green, and the plastic used for the upper arms, tail and weapon, as well as the paint operations for the wings and forehead, get changed from a dark metallic purple to a brighter, flat purple. The only colors that are unchanged are the gold paint operations for the robot mode face, the beak and the claws and the red paint operations for the eyes in both modes. The variant appears to be less common than the original version, since there are four known production date codes for the original but only one for the variant.[4]

  • Abominus (Micro-Changer Combiner, 2013)
    • Set number: A4473
    • Accessories: Blade
Windrazor in Kreon form can be rebuilt from his robot mode into a flying bird-lizard thing. He can also contribute his bricks to form Abominus. His helmet was originally used for Megatron.
He was only available in the Abominus Micro-Changer Combiner set, alongside Hun-Gurrr, Rippersnapper, and Sinnertwin.
