James Hill is a British comic writer who wrote several Marvel UK stories before Simon Furman became the sole writer.

He wrote the influential State Games story, which established the Decepticon's origins in gladiatorial bloodsports - this was used again in Dreamwave and Megatron Origin.

He also wrote the first and second of the Marvel UK Christmas stories.
