- The Infernac Universe and its inhabitants are a mishmash of concepts—most prominently, the universe takes its name from the subterranean realm of Metlar from the original Inhumanoids television show. At Hasbro Pulse Con 2023, Mark Maher acknowledged that the Armorizers took inspiration from both Daira's rocky inhabitants as seen in the Headmasters episode "My Friend Sixshot!", and the Rock Lords of GoBots fame.
