In the far future, the Prime Leaders (プライムリ一ダ一 Praimu Rīdā) are the rulers of the Transformer race.

• The term "Prime Leader" seems to derive from a glossary entry in Beast Wars Universe, which appears to misunderstand Optimus Primal's line in "Dark Designs" about Rhinox potentially making "one prime leader" as referring to a proper term. (Beast Wars Universe focuses on the original English version of Beast Wars, so the line is not present in the Japanese dub.)
