In the far future, the Prime Leaders (プライムリ一ダ一 Praimu Rīdā) are the rulers of the Transformer race.

Over time, the Great Convoy system of Cybertron leadership came to an end, and they were replaced by the Prime Leaders, who maintained the cosmos. In accordance, Great Lio Convoy became Maximal Senior Commander Leo Prime. Dark Amber Leo Prime bio

- The term "Prime Leader" seems to derive from a glossary entry in Beast Wars Universe,[1] which appears to misunderstand Optimus Primal's line in "Dark Designs" about Rhinox potentially making "one prime leader" as referring to a proper term.[2] (Beast Wars Universe focuses on the original English version of Beast Wars, so the line is not present in the Japanese dub.)
