Agostino "Dino" De Laurentiis (born August 8, 1919 – November 10, 2010) was an Italian film producer best known for his production of movies such as the 1976 King Kong remake, Flash Gordon, Conan the Barbarian, Halloween II, Manhunter, & David Lynch's Dune from his company De Laurentiis Entertainment Group, the company that distributed The Transformers: The Movie.
