Specifics: The original town from 'I Saw Three Ships'

At a glance, Springfield seems like a nice place, but that's exactly what Cobra want you to think. This cozy little town is totally fake- nothing more than a pleasant facade for some of their most heinous operations. It's such a disarming charade that they may even build another...

Notes

  • Springfield is based on the the two-part episode "There's No Place Like Springfield" from the original G.I. Joe cartoon, where the heroes are trapped in a fake town populated by facsimile humans. Tom Scioli noted in his commentary that Shipwreck, who had a prominent role in the episode, was set to be the star of this issue as well before Scarlett became the viewpoint character.
