When Fortress Maximus was hidden on Earth, one of the O-Parts, part of the key to locate the giant Autobot, was concealed in a statue in the Cave of the Dragon.

Many years later, the Predacons were pointed to the cave by information extracted from Doctor Kenneth Onishi, a noted archaeologist. At the time, a news report by Dorie Dutton about a movie being filmed in the cave led the Predacons to believe that the cave harboured a giant statue capable of transforming into a dragon. Eventually, they were able to locate the cave, but the Autobots masqueraded as a dragon and a mobile statue in order to chase them off and protect the site.

Afterwards, the Autobots stumbled on the concealed O-Part, providing a vital clue to the location of Fortress Maximus. The Ultimate Robot Warrior
