Colonel Breakoff has a thing for fingers... Specifically, breaking them one at a time. Whether he does this to obtain information from the Soviet Union's enemies, or simply for the sadistic pleasure of it is unknown. He is part of the horror-themed military team, the Oktober Guard.

Fiction

Transformers vs. G.I. Joe

Colonel Breakoff and the rest of the Oktober Guard were bred specifically to survive in deep space. Everybody Hates Metroplex Wielding a laser-pistol and a short sword, he participated in his team's outer space attack on G.I. Joe's "non-human" unit U.S.7, taunting his opponents to "get their sweeties" as he blasted at them. The encounter ended when both groups were swallowed by the gigantic Autobot Fortress Maximus. Form Follows Function Within the robot, Breakoff and his fellow Oktober Guardsmen set up multiple booby traps. A squad of Joes managed to make their way through Maximus anyways. Dusty came upon Breakoff and demanded to know where U.S.7 were. Colonel Breakoff answered dismissively, stating the Joes weren't cut out for surviving on the alien world, and that they should leave dealings with the Cybertronians to him and his team. Everybody Hates Metroplex Following the apparent destruction of Earth, Breakoff and the Oktober Guard laid claim to Cybertron as their new home, declaring it "New Transylvania". This drew the attention of the Decepticons, allowing the Joes to sneak off without further conflict with the Oktober Guard. Earth: R.I.P.

Notes

• Breakoff is loosely based on Colonel Brekhov, the original leader of the Oktober Guard in the G.I. Joe comics. Brekhov also appeared in one episode of the Sunbow cartoon, where he was voiced by Gregg Berger.
