• Whirl's unpublished Marvel Universe profile shows he would have had a photon beam rifle in that continuity.
• Going by the description above, the Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye writers appear to have confused Whirl's toy's four-barreled photon beam rifle with its more Gatling gun-like shell cannon.
