Can Ultra Magnus deal with Hot Rod running late?

Synopsis

[edit]

At Autobot Headquarters, Ultra Magnus prepares to call a meeting of the Autobots to order... but Bumblebee points out that, with thirty seconds left, Hot Rod hasn't shown up yet! A furious Ultra Magnus rushes over to Hot Rod's house and finds that he's overslept; after waking him up, rushing him through his morning routine, and adjusting his spoiler, Magnus shoves Hot Rod out the door... only to realize that the young Autobot has left his favorite handkerchief behind. When Magnus runs after him, however, the much larger Autobot hits his head on the door and winds up bringing down the entire structure on his head—now he'll be the one that's late for the meeting!

Notes

[edit]
  • This story was published as the June 2022 issue of the web comic and advertised the Kingdom Ultra Magnus figure.
  • This issue was later included in the first collected edition of Transformers Go! Go!, wherein it gained a proper title. Kodansha subsequently took the rather cynical step of replacing its page on the TV Magazine website with a redirect to an issue advertising the physical release.

Transformers references

[edit]
  • In typical Go! Go! fashion Ultra Magnus sports a toy accurate design, in this case based on his advertised Kingdom toy.
