Magna laser

Mixmaster can deploy a magna laser to convert his mixing truck mode into an attack mode.

The Transformers Mixmaster came with a large purple weapon, identified as a magna laser in his instructions, which also detailed how to transform his vehicle mode into attack truck mode by plugging his laser pistol and magna laser into the top of his mixing truck mode.

This toy was redecoed and reissued (and bootlegged) a number of times over the years.

Notes

• Mixmaster's instructions were almost immediately contradicted by Devastator's packaging bio which identified his weapon as a solar energy beam rifle.
• Both Mixmaster's Marvel Universe and Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profiles would replace the weapon he could attach to his truck mode with an infrared cannon.
• Seperately, Devastator's Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile went further and replaced Devastator's weapon with a thermal cannon.
