A shrapnel grenade or splinter grenade is a Decepticon weapon deployed by Shrapnel. The Maximal Depth Charge carries disc-shaped shrapnel grenades, also known as "power pizzas".

When Spike Witwicky, Brawn, Bumblebee, Skyfire, and Windcharger attempted to hide from the Insecticons in a field of wheat, Shrapnel used a shrapnel grenade to cut down the crops and reveal them. Later, he would use another shrapnel grenade to knock Optimus Prime, Brawn and Wheeljack into the sea.
