During a tour of the Photon Power Laboratory given to the Autobots, Ironhide remarked that somebody was "beautiful". Sayaka first thought that he was complimenting her, only to see him drooling over Aphrodi A.

In a later Decepticon attack, Sayaka was threatened by Rumble attempting to break Aphrodi A's head dome, only to be saved by Ironhide protecting his "Madonna". Mazinger Z versus Transformers
