Kinder Chocolate is a brand of confectionery products manufactured by Ferrero. Kinder Surprise consist of a wrapped chocolate egg which contains a small toy, often stored in an unassembled state, constituting a surprise. Kinder Joy is similar, but instead it is a plastic egg that splits into two halves, one with the toy, and one with the food. While the toys featured are often generic, Ferrero have also included toy series linked with existing franchises. In addition to Transformers, lines such as Star Wars and Marvel Comics have also been featured.

Toys

[edit]
Easter egg version.
  • Transformers: Prime (2014)
A series of buildable figures based on Transformers: Prime characters, these consisted of a generic "cog" onto which limbs and armor could be clipped to construct the character. Toys included Optimus Prime, Arcee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream. Some worked out better than others.

  • Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015)
For Transformers: Robots in Disguise, the same Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures from the previous series were made available again, along with newcomers Sideswipe, Strongarm, Grimlock and Steeljaw. In adition, stickers were also available in the same eggs, which could led to really pissed-off kids wanting to buy another one just to try again and get a figure.
During Easter season, bigger eggs were sold containing either an Optimus Prime or a Bumblebee figure. Sadly, these figures are just a block of plastic with no features whatsoever. Each figure came with an Autobot insignia-shaped launcher and a "target" made of paper with a Decepticon insignia printed on it. They are currently known to have only been available in Brazil.
  • Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2017)
