Lord MindWaveZ and their various minions began constructing the Multidimensional Collider after arriving in the Apex in the hopes of permanently consolidating the disparate realms that made up the Apex into a single domain. However, a group of heroes led by Optimus Prime, Scarlett, and Jason Lee Scott opposed these efforts; after battering MindWaveZ's defenses for some time, they were able to mount a decisive assault that ended with them successfully reversing the device. The reversal of the Multidimensional Collider collapsed the Apex, destroyed MindWaveZ,and returned everyone to their home realities. Worlds Collide: Battle for the Multiverse
