  • ??? ("Surprise Unboxing" 6-pack, 2020)

    • Series: 6
    • Level: 2 Star
    • Known designers: Robby Musso (concept artist)
Part of the originally-planned sixth Series of BotBots, Mr. MoneyBanks is a redeco of King Cheats, transforming into a thick wad of cash money. Both modes are heavily inspired by Hasbro's Monopoly game; aside from the Monopoly money design of the cash mode, his robot mode is deco'd up to look like a tux-wearing dude with a white handlebar moustache, just like Monopoly mascot Rich Uncle Pennybags.
He was to be available in both the 5-pack and 8-pack assortments. However, we do not know what the package breakdowns for those were planned to be, as the initial Series 6 that Mr. MoneyBanks was part of never materialized. A different Series 6 was developed for release in 2023, leaving MoneyBanks's release in limbo. What limited information we have on his planned availability comes from the BotBots Series 6 checklist found on Hasbro's customer service website in early 2021.
This mold was also used to make Playgor Cardquest.
Your bargaining posture is highly dubious.

Proceed on your way to oblivion.
This item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.

    Notes

    • Presumably the Monopoly thing is more an in-company in-joke than an actual intention of him turning into worthless board game "cash" in-canon; after all, he's not in the Playroom Posse, and him having real-world legal tender markings would probably be seen as a Big No-No.
