Transformers: Tactical Arena is a multiplayer PvP strategy game for iOS platforms. Initially exclusive to the Apple Arcade service, a free-to-play version was released two years later, with the original being removed from the Apple Arcade service.
Gameplay
Tactical Arena uses a 3 tower card based pvp combat system similar to other popular games such as Clash Royale. In the game you battle using cards based on characters and items from the various continuities in Transformers.
Arenas
Arenas in Tactical Arena coincide with a given player's ranking, changing as a player gains or loses rank in the "Battle" game mode. Unlocking new arenas rewards emotes, profile pictures, music tracks, and one arena specific loot box. Higher level arenas also increase the card pool rewards players may receive from loot boxes, offering more diverse deck compositions. In a match, the only difference between each arena is cosmetic, as each retains the standard layout of three turrets separated by a divider with two bridges.

Notes
- Each character has an original, heavily G1-inspired design, save for Rotorstorm, Spinister, and Mirage who are all based on their Siege figures. Meanwhile, Galvatron is based on his Kingdom figure, and Tarn his Legacy figure.
- Optimus Prime's robot mode card art is a direct reference to his confrontation with Megatron in The Transformers: The Movie, specifically their pre-fight banter.
