Four Autobots are turned into humans.

Synopsis

[edit]

A small group of Autobots foil the theft of Newtronium, however the perpetrator, Victor Drath brings in the help of mercenary Old Snake. The pair lure Ultra Magnus, Rodimus, Arcee, and Springer into a trap and place their minds in synthoid bodies, with the Autobots' original bodies being repurposed as weapons for Drath's use. The four humanized Autobots discover Drath's plan is to use their robot bodies to destroy Autobot City, and set out to raise the alarm and stop Drath. Once the plan is foiled, the Autobots are returned to their original bodies, and Drath is sent to jail. Old Snake escapes, though his attempt at a battle cry results in a coughing fit.

You play as the Decepticons.

Notes

[edit]
  • This is a campaign event.
  • This episode is based on the Generation 1 episode of the same name.
  • A first for Legends, all of the cards are humans, with the Autobots' evolution cards depicting the process of them being turned into synthoids.
    • It is also the first event to feature a G.I. Joe character.
  • The weapon cards are an odd assortment. While Drath gets a futuristic gun, Old Snake gets the bank of controls that he used to control the synthoid machine, Arcee gets a motorcycle, Ultra Magnus gets a flashlight, Rodimus gets a cylinder of Newtronium, and Springer gets the religious pamphlet he was offered at one point in the episode.
  • As with her appearance in the "'Til All Are One" event, Arcee's robot form is her original pink cartoon model instead of the blue body she usually has.
  • A bug resulted in Springer not actually appearing in the event, with his spot taken by the R5 Ultra Magnus cards instead. He did end up being given out to tier 2 winners, though the rewards list originally had him as tier 3 rewards.
