The story so far is recapped rapid-fire style. In 1985, the Transformers' battle on Earth begins. In 2005, reinforcements to both sides arrive from space. Optimus Prime is slain in a devastating attack on the Autobot base. Megatron is reformatted into Galvatron by the Space Destroyer Unicron. Unicron and Galvatron are both slain in the Unicron War. Galvatron is revived on Chaar in the year 2010. The Headmasters arrive to Earth in the year 2011.
