Notes

Can you still see me?
  • The "M1 Abrams Decepticons" featured in Dark of the Moon reuse the CGI model of Brawl from the first live-action movie, but given that Brawl died in that film, it's unlikely that these guys were intended to be him. This also isn't the first time the "reused CGI model for incidental character" phenomenon has cropped up within the movie universe, but at least this time, some differentiation of color is employed: where Brawl was green, these guys are brown, much like Brawl's various "Deep Desert" toys.
    • Alternatively, much like fellow first movie Decepticon Bonecrusher, all of the bios released with Brawl's toys from the tail end of the first movie toyline, through to the 2010 toyline state he survived the battle of Mission City, with an overly large majority of them featuring a brown "desert" deco of some kind. While toy bios don't generally hold any bearing over film plots and the coloration is most likely just a coincidence, there is potential there for your imagination to run wild.
  • The Super Bowl spot for Dark of the Moon features the "M1 Abrams Decepticon" slightly more prominently than both the regular trailer and the final film. The reason for that is that the locations (and thus, relative sizes) of the CG Decepticons featured in the tracking shot that depict the "M1 Abrams Decepticon" were shuffled around following the release of the Super Bowl spot.
  • Since Brawl was not actually an M1 Abrams tank, but a redressed tank prop originally made for the film xXx: State of the Union, and Hasbro's toys of Brawl were not licensed Abrams tanks either, our makeshift name for these guys is somewhat inaccurate.
