After coming to Earth, Transformers #9 Shockwave determined that what resources the Decepticons had on the planet were insufficient to properly harvest its resources in time to save Cybertron. To that end, he ordered the Constructicons to build a feeder, using it to harvest oceanic flora and fauna and convert it into energon. Now with sufficient fuel, Shockwave pumped the energon into the Nemesis allowing the ship to reopen the space bridge and bring Cybertron itself through the portal. Transformers #10
