Davey

Davey is a human from the Energon Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Davey is a power plant worker, Sparky's best friend, and Carly's father. He doesn't have great luck with giant robot encounters.

Davey picked Sparky up from the VFW bar to go to work, trying to ease him out of an argument he was having with his son, Spike. When Starscream attacked the power plant, Davey couldn't run away in time and was crushed in the Decepticon's fist as he delighted in the poor soul's squishy patheticness. Transformers #1

When Carly went home to check on her parents, Sparky met her in full military gear, telling her her father was dead. Transformers #2 Carly would be shaken by her father's death, and later followed the Autobots to the battle at the Ark in hopes of avenging both Davey and Spike, who had been badly injured during a battle with the Decepticons. Transformers #5
