Whirl is an evil Autobot from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

According to penal code act 1234, this is...Urgh, just follow the law please? I don't want to end up in the scrap heap.

Whirl is a cowardly security guard of the Throne of Pax alongside his fellow guard Sunstreaker. His obsession with Cybertronian law and enforcing it on his fellow Autobots has led him to be a frequent target of violence.

Fiction

Whirl's visage was featured on a poster promoting "Empurata Justice" when Orion Pax met with Megatron after getting the latter out of jail. Shattered Glass #2

Much later, Whirl and Sunstreaker attempted to bar Ultra Magnus from an audience with Optimus Prime. The nervous Whirl attempted to cite some legal prose about admittance into the throne room, but Magnus didn't appreciate it and indicated so by manhandling Whirl. Before the conflict could get worse, a call from Optimus Prime ended up allowing Ultra Magnus passage. Whirl was tossed aside by Magnus and was left to accompany the rest of the group of fierce, scary looking bots.

When Ultra Magnus decided to take leadership from Optimus Prime, While was shot dead by Slicer. Shattered Glass II #1
