Ranch Hand is an ornery son of a gun. Unusually for a Decepticon, he's something of a team player; on the battlefield, he'll often use his substantial bulk to shield other Decepticons from harm. He transforms into a tank.

Ranch Hand was one of the Decepticons under the command of Barrage. During an attack on the Royal Oak Farming Co-Op in Oregon, Barrage posted Ranch Hand and several other Decepticons to stand guard while he went underground in search of Primal Energon; while patrolling the facility, Ranch Hand and his comrades subsequently tangled with a group of Autobots and came away worse for wear.
