- "Ad hoc" is a Latin phrase commonly used in English, meaning "impromptu" or "made for a particular purpose".
- Adhoc was never officially released before the game's early shutdown. His portrait was teased on the official site and data-mining fans uncovered files of Adhoc's full body. The above image was posted to ArtStation by concept artist Sam Beattie.
- Adhoc was the only known character in the game to have an aerial alternate mode.
