Ayhan Kahya (September 8, 1958 - October 10, 2022) was a Turkish voice actor and an opera singer
He is best known as the voice of Thanos in the Avengers films, Morpheus in The Matrix franchise, and most importantly Optimus Prime in Michael Bay's films.He also retired after working as a chorus artist at Turkish State Opera and Ballet for many years.
Ayhan Kahya died of a heart attack at the age of 64 in his birthplace of Istanbul on October 10, 2022. His funeral was held in Çayırbaşı Cemetery in Sarıyer.
