The Autobots ensure there'll be no year without a Santa Claus!
Synopsis
[edit]'Twas the night before Christmas, and Optimus Prime and Bumblebee marvel at the winter weather as they conduct a regular patrol... only for their routine mission to take a turn for the irregular when they come across Santa Claus, who's crashed his sleigh. With Santa out of commission, Optimus and the other Autobots agree to help out and save Christmas!
One by one, Bumblebee, Optimus, Elita-1, Grimlock, and Ratchet race against the clock to deliver presents to all the sleeping children, dodging hazards all the while—and, at the crack of dawn, the whole team bands together to form a bridge so that Bumblebee can deliver presents to a remote island cottage. With the job done and Santa's sleigh repaired, the jolly old man takes flight once more—but not before giving the Autobots some Christmas presents of their own!

Notes
[edit]- This comic was published in the December 2022/January 2023 issue of TV Magazine and advertised the Legacy Elita One and Studio Series Galvatron toys.
Real-world references
[edit]- To deliver presents on time, Grimlock uses his fire-breath to quickly rocket himself backwards, a la Godzilla in Godzilla vs. Hedorah.
- Although he's not named in the comic itself, Santa's sleigh is shown being pulled by a single red-nosed reindeer.
Other trivia
[edit]- The toy callout for this issue advertises Elita's 2022 Legacy toy, but in the comic itself she's still sporting a body she's used up til this point, based on the dark red War for Cybertron toy. The first page of the story also features Studio Series Galvatron for some reason, although his inclusion in the story would've probably made things much more interesting.
