Hailstorm is a heroic Decepticon from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

Hailstorm is a crew member of the Rising Sea, serving with his friend Flamewar.

Hailstorm was a member of the Rising Sea, and was present in the bar when Flamewar eulogized their fallen captain Cannonball.

Much later, Hailstorm continued to serve dutifully under Flamewar, and trusted his leader implicitly. He rolled into battle when Flamewar attempted to attack Rodimus in revenge for Cannonball, and fired a missile in an attempt to help the reckless Flamewar exact her vengeance. However, the ruthless Rodimus fired his weapon into Hailstorm's missile turret, blowing up Hailstorm and killing him. Shattered Glass II issue 4
