Spark Containment Chamber

A Spark Containment Chamber is a device that is used for storing a Transformer's disembodied spark. The device could presumably even prevent abnormal sparks, such as the immortal spark of Starscream, from escaping its confines.

Captain Cannonball had Ferak build for him a Spark Containment Chamber in anticipation for their encounter with Starscream's immortal spark. However, Flamewar managed to steal the device, and conspired with Starscream (who was, unknown to the rest of the crew, already aboard the Tidal Wave) to overthrow Cannonball. The pair succeeded, and Captain Cannonball's own spark was put into the Containment Chamber instead of Starscream's. Cannonball's spark was left behind on a barren planetoid surrounded by black holes, along with the pirate captain's loyalists. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur
