After Megatron damaged Optimus Prime in an attempt to ensure the Decepticons won the Great War, Blackarachnia used codes to get Teletraan I to activate repair equipment. After the Ark's repair device was brought on line, Rhinox initiated repairs, while Optimus Primal took the dangerous step of merging his spark with Prime's own.
