I just glanced through the bible ([1]) and although I found it say that Spike was fourteen, I didn't see an age reference for Carly that corroborates the edit previous to my own. I probably just missed it, but, if somebody can find a specific reference and stick that in, I'd appreciate it. And incidentally, how do we know she goes to MIT? CARLY, a year older than Spike, could be called Spike's girlfriend--but not to her face!

First seen in MP#700-21 "The Immobilizer," Carly was always more interested in the Auotobots than in Spike (to Spike's dismay), although she appreciates his friendship. Like Chip, Carly's scientific knowledge is great--but it extends more in the chemical/electrical/mechanical areas of science than computer knowledge. Carly is almost too self-assured, and her curiosity often leads her--and Spike--into dangerous situations. Impulsive and apt to act on her own instincts, Carly often disappears from the others with a plan of her own--usually some bold, bordering-on-foolish attempt to aid her friends.

If Spike is fourteen and Carly is only a year older than Spike, how can she have a license and drive? --FFN 09:04, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

I would assume that Spike is fourteen in Season One, and fifteen in Season Two. Which would make Carly sixteen when they meet. --KilMichaelMcC 09:12, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

I didn't see anything on this here... is there any reason this page isn't at "Carly Witwicky"? I mean, I know it's a later development... but it's the only last name she ever got as far as we know. --M Sipher 06:51, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Carly's clothing as a teenager

I am currently writing a fanfiction on DeviantArt.com about the Battle of Autobot City as depicted in The Transformers: The Movie. However, it is a rewrite set in the year 1986, the same year the film came out in theaters. In this rewrite, the Autobots that were killed in the battle, including Optimus Prime, survived. Carly, the girlfriend of Spike Witwicky and eventual wife is in this fanfic as well. And while I know what she looks like in season two. But I need help. I need an accurate and detailed description of her clothing and appearance from season 2.
