After barely escaping termination, Lightlong and Optimus meet Hydrophant, as well as two mysterious Energy Beasts...
Synopsis
Lightlong and Optimus arrive at a cave, the former saving both of their skidplates after their duel with Megatron nearly ended both of them, and is very proud of it. A mysterious being approaches them from inside the cave, who turns out to be Lightlong's best friend, Hydrophant. The elephant Energy Beast was slow to receive Optimus, but after Lightlong says that Optimus was the hero of legend, the elephant couldn't be happier.
Inside the cave, Hydrophant informs Lightlong that Drillnohorn hasn't returned with anything the last time they checked. That said, the timid Energy Beast doesn't receive the news that a fight with the Dinosaur Tribe has erupted too well, causing a lot of damage to the cave during a meltdown before fleeing through the other end, with Optimus and Lightlong in pursuit, believing his strength could make a good ally.
Hydrophant continued to run even when outside the cave, causing Lightlong and Optimus Prime to lose him, and he eventually kept running until he was about to run over a Dinosaur Tribe Energy Beast, who used his powers to summon a rock to stop the stampeding Hydrophant in his tracks. The Dinosaur, Spirituan, wasn't happy at being charged at, and attacked Hydrophant, only to have Optimus intercept his attack.
While holding back Spirituan, Optimus tries to pep talk Hydrophant that, while yes, fighting was scary, sometimes you have to stand up for what's important to you. Spirituan admires Optimus' skills, but feels something was "sinister" about him before disengaging. Lightlong manages to catch up to Optimus as he finds out something shocking: Ignite Leo, one of his own, was allied with Spirituan!

Continuity notes
- This is the first:
- Absence of both Megatron and Captain Volca.
- Absence of any Wildocking taking place, **Episode with a time skip, as previous episodes took place back to back.
- Instance of an Energy Beast using Element Energy powers on their own without the need of Wildocking with an Energy Master.
- Energy Beast wielding a form of Elemental Energy another known member wields
- This episode reveals 3 of the Energy Beasts shown in Lightlong's exposition in The Power of Bonds! Wildocking!: the elephant was, indeed, Hydrophant, but the spinosaurus and lion were revealed to be Spirituan and Ignite Leo respectively.
- Notably, via Spirituan's debut, all 5 forms of Elemental Energy, as introduced in On to Elementros!, have at least one Energy Beast representative.
- Also, as of this episode, the entire cast of the first wave have debuted in the show.
- Interestingly, Ignite Leo didn't get a name introduction card in this episode, only getting one in the next one. Also unlike most of the Energy Beasts, he also didn't speak upon his debut.
