Nightbeat (SG)

Nightbeat is an evil Autobot from the Shattered Glass mirror universe.

Nightbeat is Optimus Prime's head of his Secret Police. Though he's not very smart, he makes up for this with a strong sense of intuition, and he is ruled mostly by paranoia. Due to his inclinations towards torturing his interrogation suspects, and his role in rooting out suspected Decepticon sympathizers amongst the Autobot ranks, he is feared among even his own peers. He confuses this fear with respect.

After an assassination attempt, he suffers chronic cosmic rust. Though treatment usually keeps the infection from spreading further, hygienic neglect can cause it to become extremely contagious.

This repaint of Timelines Nightbeat was only available in the customization class at BotCon 2008. Parts were provided, but the individuals taking the class had to assemble and paint the toy.
