The Skyboom Mini-Cons finally take matters into their own hands, while Scavenger joins forces with Wheeljack to find their comrades.

Synopsis

Part 1

The Skyboom Mini-Cons bemoan the fact that Optimus doesn't want them to get involved in the battle and vainly attempt to convince Inferno and Trip-Up to leave them on their own so they can escape. When the two Autobots decline, they resort to attacking them both and running away while they recover. Mirage asks what their next course of action is, to which Dirt Boss replies that they fight Megatron head-on as opposed to waiting for him to inevitably come after them. Then, once he's defeated, they'll hand themselves to Optimus... but not before presetting their Powerlinx mechanisms to self-destruct, destroying the Skyboom once and for all.

Part 2

Inside Cyber-City, Armada Wheeljack confronts the AI-possessed Breakdown Prime, who threatens to kill all "invasive lifeforms" such as him. Wheeljack attempts to reason him, stating that they have a common foe in the Entity, but the AI simply says that "the end of days is begun" before Armada Scavenger cauterizes Breakdown's ether port to permanently expel it from his system. He explains to the pair that he's here to help them, as both sides are in need of the heavy hitters inside the escape pods located within the fortress. Breakdown asks if the AI's warning about the end of days is true, and Wheeljack confirms his fears, adding that they are in ground zero.
