Notes

• In Downshift's toy's instructions and unpublished Marvel Universe profile his weapon was a rust rifle; the neural shock gun was an unusually inventive creation of Dreamwave's More than Meets the Eye series. Sadly, in Downshift's only appearance in that continuity he was trashed by Menasor off-panel, so the neural shock gun's possibilities went unexplored.
• Given that Downshift and Camshaft's names were switched in Japan, the Tech Specs for the Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers (toyline) of Downshift's toy called this weapon a hand pulse laser.
