Trithyllium is a metal used to construct some of the toughest Transformer bodies and weapons. It is often a dark steel color.

Dark of the Moon
Several TakaraTomy promotional MechTech weapons and other "prize" toys were identified as "Trithyllium" versions, all of which were plated in gunmetal chrome. They included:
- Trithyllium null ray sword, a redeco of Starscream's weapon
- Trithyllium plasma blaster, a redeco of Bumblebee's weapon
- Trithyllium triple wrecking claw, a redeco of Barricade's weapon
