Trent Troop has said that Sir Soundwave was designed as "the kid-appeal character", fitting the whole Sunbow theme of some SG material. Noteworthy? 75.61.100.140 15:57, 13 May 2012 (EDT)

- Well, that's silly. Buzzsaw and Razorclaw are yellow, too, and Razorclaw, for that matter, had much more importance than Reflector (who only has one line to his name). Soundwave, meanwhile, was originally a repurposing, and can't be yellow. Disregarding that, and Trent Troop's remarks explicitly naming him "the Decepticons' Bumblebee" , though, I think "reckless, rebellious, jokey, commonly-appearing musician who speaks in slang, befriends humans, and wears a Ninja Turtle headband" outweighs "yellow extra." Lightlong being here
[edit]This came to me while watching tjomegas catch up video on wild king, as he suggested this idea (even comparing him to Bumblebee). Considering its just his opinion, im a bit unsure, and thinking about it, idk if he fills the role well enough despite being a cheery sidekick.Poliwag06 (talk) 09:07, 23 July 2025 (EDT)
