Oil Slick is a Decepticon scientist who wears a monocle. He and Loudpedal specialize in creating new weapons of mass destruction for the Decepticon cause.

Of Masters and Mayhem

Oil Slick and Loudpedal reported via telecommunications to Shockwave and Knock Out on the re-engineering of a test subject into Toxitron the living bioweapon. They later reported on the successful creation of a gun which could channel Toxitron's sludge, but it was during this call that they realized Toxitron was plotting to escape the facility. They were forced to trigger Toxitron's backup paralysis implant and abandon the facility immediately. The Toxic Transformer

• Oil Slick is based on a combination of the Encore Ratchet Emergency Green toy (itself a color homage to live-action movie Ratchet) and Go! Hunter Ratchet.
• Of Masters and Mayhem Crash Test was originally to be named "Oil Slick", but that was changed thanks to the name being prominently used in another Of Masters and Mayhem story.
