Heavytread is a Mini-Con from the Generation 1 continuity family (via the Thrilling 30 toyline).

Heavytread's small size makes him an incredibly maneuverable tank on the battlefield, giving him both firepower and the speed and agility to make him a hard target to hit. As a member of the Mini-Con Assault Team, he can combine with Windshear and Runway into Centuritron.

Heavytread's nature varies. Incarnations of him include Mini-Cons and Ammonites.

Part of the eighth wave of Generations Deluxe Class toys, Thrilling 30 Heavytread transforms from a green-and-black tank into a squat robot who can mount his massive turret on either of his arms via 5 mm post. He comes with Runway and Windshear, and all three can combine into the mighty Centuritron, with his weapon helping to form the combined robot's combined weapon. Heavytread's turret can be wielded like a bazooka (if you do not remove it during the vehicle-to-robot transformation) or a rifle (the intended configuration).
Tampographed on his side in tank mode is the alphanumeric marking "TVCB1D6", which in turn stands for "TUCBIDG", which in turn is an abbreviation for "The UC Band is Damn Good", the slogan of the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands|{{#if:||University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands}}]], making this the second reference to the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Cincinnati Bearcats|{{#if:||Cincinnati Bearcats}}]] after Cybertron Hightail.
He also comes with a copy of "Into the Abyss: Dark Cybertron Chapter 4".

The TakaraTomy version of Heavytread, part of the fourteenth wave of Japanese Generations toys, is noticeably shinier, casting his plastics in darker, metallic shades, and featuring additional silver paint details on his arms and legs, among other deco changes. His stock photography erroneously depicts him being cast in the same glossy, non-metallic plastic as the Hasbro version.
