- The Constructicons' repeated "hitting" on cars is just like Side Burn's from Robots in Disguise.
Real-world references
- The Constructicons often hit on cars (which could be the equivalent for them to female 'bots...or something), just like real cartoon construction workers with passing women.
Miscellaneous trivia
- The new Constructicons Mixmaster and Scrapper have a very loose resemblance to Nintendo's Mario and Luigi, respectively, even with Italian accents.
- The Constructicons first start off as Constructobots, a portmanteau of construction and Autobot, but later Megatron gives them a new name, formed from construction and Decepticon instead.
- It seems Megatron can actually be nice at times (either that, or he's a really good actor)
