Drone jet

Drone jets were unmanned aerial combat vehicles created through the collaboration of Ali and Megatron as part of a ploy to control the skies above the Middle East. Evidently, they aren't very effective.

As part of a deal with the Decepticons, Ali and his henchmen embarked on an ambitious campaign to disassemble aircraft and smuggle them piece-by-piece to Megatron's base of operations. Under the supervision of Blast Off, these components became the Drone Jets. While investigating this mysterious crime, Slingshot and Skydive smuggled themselves in, and managed to contact the other Aerialbots (sans Fireflight) to rendezvous with them at the base. In the ensuing battle, the nine completed drones were hastily activated to back up Blast Off, Vortex, and Ramjet, with each Decepticon assuming charge of three. Despite their numerical superiority, they were destroyed rather easily thanks to their presumably low intelligence and fragility, necessitating the use of the Giant Purple Griffin. Aerial Assault
