This article is about a character or concept that lacks a name, but has an official term or designation.

Unicron's subordinate was to have been a Transformer from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

"Unicron's subordinate" (ユニクロン手下 Yunikuron teshita)[1] is pretty scary, which is why it's a good thing he doesn't exist. If he had, he would have had an attack satellite mode and some version of Eggleo/Dark Eggleo as his own minion.

  • "Unicron's subordinate" (1999)
Planned for the Beast Wars Neo phase of the Beast Wars toyline in Japan, "Unicron's subordinate" (that being his function, as he is noted as "name undecided" on the control art) would have been a retool of Beast Wars Deluxe Class Retrax from a pill bug into an "attack satellite". This retool concept was abandoned for unknown reasons, likely in favor of the more cost effective idea of using easily available toolings to create the Blentrons instead.
The "Unicron's subordinate" concept also shares a design aesthetic in line with the prior Beast Wars II Cyborg Beasts, what with the cybernetic "monocle" eye, monstrous teeth, and tons of mechanical greebles. As there is no other information to go off of beyond a common designer and one piece of control art, any correlation between the two concepts is uncertain.
